Joanne L. Smikle

Joanne L. Smikle, PhD, is the Principal Consultant at Smikle Training Services, a position held since 1989, focusing on strategic and operational solutions to enhance leadership competencies for client organizations. Since September 2020, Joanne serves as a member of the Board of Trustees at Saybrook University and has been an Advisory Board Member for ElevateMed since January 2018. Joanne also contributed as a faculty member in the Department of Leadership & Management at Saybrook University from June 2017 to May 2019 and as an Associate Professor in the Management and Decision Sciences Doctoral Program at Capitol Technology University from December 2015 to December 2016. Academically, Joanne earned a PhD in Human and Organization Development from Fielding Graduate University between 2012 and 2015 and has educational ties to the University of Maryland Baltimore County.
