John L. Dundon

John L. Dundon has extensive work experience in finance and accounting. John L. is currently serving as the Chief Financial Officer at Sayre Christian Village since January 2022. Prior to this, they ran their own accounting firm, J.L. Dundon, CPA, PSC, from November 2015 to December 2021. Before starting their own firm, they worked at Sayre Christian Village as the Chief Development Officer/CFO from August 2011 to November 2015. Ealier in their career, they were the Superintendent at Lexington (KY) Christian Academy from July 2008 to July 2011. John L. also served as the Executive Vice President/CFO at Kentucky Christian University from August 1991 to June 2008. John started their career at Peoples Commercial Bank, where they held the positions of Senior Vice President, Controller, and Cashier from May 1985 to July 1991. John L.'sjourney in the finance field began at Potter & Company, CPAs, where they worked as a Senior Accountant from December 1982 to April 1985.

John L. Dundon's education history includes a Ph.D. in Organization & Management from Capella University, obtained in 2008. John L. also holds a Master of Science (M.S.) degree in Higher Education Administration from the University of Kentucky, obtained in 1991. John L.'sundergraduate education consists of a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree in Accounting from Eastern Kentucky University, earned in 1982.

In addition to their formal education, John L. Dundon is certified as a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) by the Kentucky State Board of Accountancy. John L. obtained this certification in March 1985.
