Philip A Hyndman has over 30 years of work experience in architecture and project management. Philip A currently serves as the Vice President at SB Architects and has been with the company since 2023. Previously, they worked as an Architect at their own firm, Philip Hyndman Architect, where they focused on team-driven environments and mentorship. From 2020 to 2023, they were a Director at Form4 Architecture, Inc., specializing in workplace architecture and interiors. Prior to that, they held the position of Vice President at HKS, Inc., where they worked on hospitality and residential/mixed-use projects. Philip A also has experience as an Associate at SB Architects and Kava Massih Architects. Early in their career, they worked as a Senior Associate at The Office of Charles F Bloszies Architecture + Structures and as an Architect at MBT Architecture (now Perkins + Will). Throughout their career, Philip has demonstrated expertise in design quality, project management, and client satisfaction.
Philip A Hyndman attended California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo from 1979 to 1986. During this time, they pursued a Bachelor of Architecture (B.Arch.) degree with a focus on Sustainable Highrise Mixed Use Urban Housing. In addition, they also obtained a Bachelor of Architecture degree in Architecture from the same university, completing it in 1985.
