Sanjay Dhawan

Sanjay Dhawan started their work experience in 1991 as a Systems Engineer at Ericsson, focusing on wireless and wireline R&D. Sanjay later moved on to various technical sales and business development roles across South East Asia and Oceana, including SingTel International and SingTel Singapore. In 2008, they became the Head of Technical for Bharti Airtel Customer Unit at Ericsson. From 2009 to 2012, they served as the VP Mobile Broadband & Region India CTO at Ericsson, responsible for wireless networks portfolio in India. Sanjay then held roles as VP CTO for Mid Tier Customer Unit, VP CTO for Broadband and Media Customer Unit, and Principal Solutions Manager in Sprint Customer Unit. From 2015 to 2017, they were the Head of 5G Engagements for Ericsson North America. Sanjay'smost recent role, starting in March 2020, is the VP of New Business Technology and Operations at SBA Communications.

Sanjay Dhawan received a Bachelor of Engineering (BE) degree in Electrical, Electronics, and Communications Engineering from Thapar Institute of Engineering & Technology in 1988. Sanjay then pursued a Master of Science (MS) degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Virginia Tech, which they completed in 1991.
