Steve Delo

Steve Delo has a diverse work experience in the field of facilities engineering. Steve is currently the Director Facilities Engineering at SBA Communications since July 2019. Before that, they held the same position at New Continuum Data Centers from August 2014 to July 2019. Prior to these roles, they worked as a Senior Field Engineer at Lionheart Engineering from October 2006 to August 2014. Steve also served as a Senior Field Engineer at Fakouri Electrical Engineering from December 2004 to November 2006, and at Piller Power Systems from December 2000 to December 2004. Steve Delo began their career in the US Navy, where they served from December 1995 to December 2000.

Steve Delo attended the University of Alaska Fairbanks from 1992 to 1995, but did not obtain a degree or specify a field of study. In 1996 to 1997, they pursued Electrical and Electronics Engineering at the US Navy. In 1997 to 1998, they studied Digital and Analog Electronics, also at the US Navy. Additionally, in 2001, Steve obtained a Level II certification in Infrared Science from FLIR SYSTEMS. Furthermore, they attended Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University from 1998 to 2000, but did not complete a degree program or specify a field of study. Steve also holds certifications including Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer: Security (MCSE) from Microsoft and is a FAA certified private pilot. Steve has also earned a Certified Data Center Design Professional certification from CNet Training and has FLIR certified Level II certification from FLIR Systems.
