Peter Svensen

Peter Svensen has a comprehensive work experience. Peter is currently working as the Chief Financial Officer at SBAB since January 2023. Prior to this role, they were the Chief Risk Officer (CRO) at SEK Svensk Exportkredit from October 2019 to December 2022. Peter also served as the CRO at SBAB from August 2012 to October 2019. Before joining SBAB, Peter worked at Oliver Wyman as a Senior Job Manager with a major focus on credit risk. Peter worked with universal banks in the Nordics, rest of Europe, and Africa, interacting primarily with CROs, CFOs, and business heads. Peter spent about 50% of their time working outside of Sweden. Peter's career started at KPMG, where they worked as a Manager from 1999 to 2003.

Peter Svensen obtained their Master's Degree in Engineering/Industrial Management from Linköping University, where they studied from 1994 to 1999. Additionally, they pursued further studies at Hamburg University of Technology from 1996 to 1997, earning another Master's Degree in Engineering/Industrial Management.
