Valentin Roy

Valentin Roy is an experienced project manager specializing in control, command, and signalling systems, currently working at SBB CFF FFS since September 2018. In this role, Valentin has held positions as Project Manager for Smartrail 4.0 and completed a technical trainee program that included four promotions within 18 months, focusing on process optimization, research in traffic management using Machine Learning, and external placements. Prior to this, Valentin worked as a Researcher R&D at SMA und Partner AG, developing algorithms for evaluating railway schedule stability with Machine Learning methods. Valentin holds a Master of Science and Bachelor of Science in Mathematics from EPFL, completed in 2018 and 2015 respectively.
