Michiel Deneckere

Michiel Deneckere is an experienced project engineer and project manager currently working at SBE nv since April 2022. Previously, Michiel served as Project Lead at TUC RAIL from May 2019 to April 2022 and held the position of Offshore Project Engineer at Jan De Nul Group from January 2014 to May 2019, contributing to significant projects such as the Borkum/Trianel and Northwester II windfarms. Michiel also worked as an Expat Project Engineer on major international projects, including the Pointe Noire port expansion in Congo, the New International Airport in Istanbul, Turkey, and the Suez Channel expansion project in Egypt. Michiel holds a Master of Science in Civil Engineering from Ghent University and participated in an exchange program at CY Cergy Paris Université.
