Andrey Nikolaev

Andrey Nikolaev is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in software architecture and engineering, currently serving as Managing Director at Sberbank since September 2021, where Andrey plays a pivotal role in the development of a recommendation platform and is a co-author of crucial specifications. Prior to this, Andrey held various positions at Intel Corporation from May 2004 to August 2021, including Principal Engineer, where responsibilities included leading the design of analytics libraries and contributing to safety standards for autonomous driving technologies. Earlier in Andrey's career, experience was gained at Yantar and Ulyanovsk State University, focusing on software development for air traffic management systems and academic instruction in mathematics and stochastic processes. Andrey holds a Ph.D. in Mathematical Cybernetics from Ulyanovsk State University and received education at the Max Plank Institute for Demographic Researches.
