Abhijit Chakravorty

Abhijit Chakravorty currently serves as the MD&CEO at SBI Card since August 2023. Prior to this role, Abhijit held various significant positions at the State Bank of India, including Deputy Managing Director, Chief General Manager, General Manager, Deputy General Manager, and Country Head, where Abhijit led banking operations in Bangladesh. Additionally, Abhijit was the CEO responsible for managing corporate, retail, and treasury operations in Bangladesh. Abhijit has extensive experience at the State Bank of India since December 1988 across various roles. Abhijit holds an M.Sc. in Applied Chemistry from Madhav Institute of Technology and Science, Gwalior.
