Saikat Chakraborty

Saikat Chakraborty is a seasoned financial services professional with extensive experience in credit cards, insurance, and cross-selling strategies. Currently serving as Senior Vice President at SBI Card since February 2020, Saikat has held strategic leadership roles focused on new accounts acquisition, business planning, and P&L management. Previously, at YES BANK, Saikat contributed to building the credit card business from the ground up, overseeing sales, credit, risk, and product management. Additional roles at Axis Bank involved leading various segments within retail assets and corporate channels, while earlier positions at HDFC Bank, IDBI Bank, Tata AIG General Insurance, and other institutions enriched expertise in customer service, sales strategy, and operational processes. Saikat holds a BSc (Hons) in Economics from St. Xavier's College, Kolkata.
