Steven Sumpter

Steven Sumpter has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. Steven worked as a Business Consultant at SBIR Advisors Inc. from May 2022 to the present. Prior to that, they served as a Licensed Real Estate Agent at Buckingham Investments, Inc., specializing in Multifamily assets and transactions, starting in December 2021. Additionally, they worked as a Senior Associate at SkyView Advisors from June 2022 to September 2022, where they contributed to the innovation and digital transformation of the commercial real estate brokerage industry.

Before venturing into the business and real estate sectors, Steven served in the United States Air Force for several years. Their roles included Director of Operations for Defensive Cyber Operations from June 2019 to July 2022, where they oversaw communications, personnel forecasting, and administration for a 96-person unit. Steven also held the positions of Cyber Program Manager, Space Force Service Provider Liaison, Strategic Planner, Communications and Network Supervisor, and Lieutenant during their tenure in the Air Force.

Steven's career journey also involved an internship with JLL, sponsored by the U.S. Air Force, where they gained valuable experience for four months from November 2021 to March 2022. Overall, Steven's work experience showcases their expertise in business consulting, real estate, technology innovation, and leadership in the military.

Steven Sumpter attended the United States Air Force Academy from 2011 to 2015, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration and Management, with a focus on General studies. In addition to their degree, Steven also obtained certifications in CompTIA Security+ from CompTIA in April 2016 and as a Real Estate Broker/Sales Agent from the California Department of Real Estate in November 2021.
