Mouncif Toumi

Country Registration Manager (plant Protection Product) at SBM Life Science

Mouncif Toumi currently serves as the Country Registration Manager for plant protection products at SBM Life Science, starting in February 2023. Previously held the same role at BASF from August 2022 to February 2023, contributing to sustainable agricultural practices through a diverse portfolio of crop protection solutions. Earlier experience includes working as a Junior Biology Scientist R&D at Evergreen Garden Care, focusing on the use of essential oils in pest control, and as a study engineer at CIRAD, where Mouncif conducted a feasibility study on infrared spectrometry techniques for soil carbon measurement. Additionally, completed a student internship in the pharmacovigilance department at the University Hospital of Oran. Mouncif holds a Master’s degree in Bio-molecular Engineering and Nanobiotechnologies and two Bachelor's degrees in Life Sciences and Applied Molecular Genetics, all from the University of Montpellier and the Sciences and Technology University of Oran.
