Etienne Arselin

Etienne Arselin is an experienced hydrodynamics engineer at SBM Offshore since December 2005, with a focus on the design and fabrication of anchoring systems. Notable roles include serving as the naval lead on the conversion of double hull tankers into FPSOs for Petrobras and on new built hull generic designs. As a Lead Structural Engineer, contributions were made to the Kaombo FPSO and Cidade de Paraty FPSO where responsibilities included topside integration and coordinating the modules lifting campaign, respectively. Prior experience at Bureau Veritas involved developing structural rules for offshore structures and conducting advanced calculations. Etienne's educational background includes a degree from Centrale Nantes (1996-1999).
