Rajat Kanti Roy

Rajat Kanti Roy has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies and roles. Rajat Kanti currently holds the position of Principal Electrical Engineer at SBM Offshore since 2022. Prior to that, they worked as a Sr Project Engineer and Specialist High Voltage Engineer at Sapura Offshore Sdn Bhd. from 2019 to 2022. From 2012 to 2019, they served as a Principal Electrical Engineer at TechnipFMC- Malaysia, where they worked on projects such as PETRONAS RAPID- Utilities, Interconnecting & Offsites and INPEX-ICHTHYS Field Development Project. Before that, they worked as a Senior Electrical Engineer at TECHNIP GEOPRODUCTION (M) SDN.BHD. from 2005 to 2012, and at DAR ENGINEERING, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia from 2000 to 2005. Rajat Kanti started their career as an Assistant Chief Engineer (Electrical) at Fichtner Consulting Engineers (India) Pvt Ltd., Mumbai, India from 1994 to 2000. Rajat Kanti also worked as a Senior Electrical Design Engineer at Development Consultants Ltd., Mumbai, India from 1990 to 1994.

Rajat Kanti Roy obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Physics from the University of Calcutta in the years 1981-1985. Rajat Kanti then pursued a Master of Technology degree in Applied Physics (Electrical Engineering) from the University College of Science & Technology, Calcutta University, from 1985 to 1989.
