Ricardo Terra

Ricardo Terra is a proficient engineering professional with extensive experience in research and development, safety, and digital transformation. Currently serving as the Digital Factory Lead at SBM Offshore since March 2021, Ricardo has also held significant roles such as R&D Project Engineer at both SBM Offshore and NIDF/UFRJ. Prior to these positions, expertise was gained as an HSE Engineer at Fábrica Carioca de Catalisadores S.A. and as an R&D Assistant at NIDF/UFRJ. Ricardo began a career in the industry with a corporate internship at Petrobras. Educationally, Ricardo holds a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering and a Bachelor of Engineering in Chemical and Biochemical Engineering from the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro, as well as nanodegrees in Data Analysis and Machine Learning from Udacity.
