Thiago Pires

Thiago Pires currently serves as an Operations Trainee Offshore at SBM Offshore, where responsibilities include managing change (MOC), maintenance of electrical and mechanical systems, offloading, personnel on board (POB) control, budget control, and oversight of production processes. Previously, Thiago held the position of Shutdown Intern at SBM Offshore, focusing on management of shutdown projects for clients such as Shell and Petrobras, with a core responsibility of understanding business challenges. Prior experience includes a role as Bolsista PIBIC at Universidade do Estado do Rio de Janeiro, where Thiago worked on interconnection network architecture for embedded systems, and served as a Bank Clerk at Santander Universidades - Brasil, providing personalized service to clients. Thiago holds Bachelor's degrees in Geophysics from Universidade Federal Fluminense and in Electrical Engineering from UERJ, with proficiency in programming languages such as C/C++, Python, and knowledge in convolutional neural networks (CNN) and neural networks.
