Andrew Hensel

Andrew Hensel is an experienced reporter and media professional currently working at Shaw Media since August 2024. Hensel has also served as a Pre/Post Game Show Host and Reporter for the Joliet Slammers Professional Baseball Club since May 2019. In addition, Hensel has been an On Air Host for SB Nation since June 2018 and a Brand Ambassador for the PickingMe Foundation NFP since October 2017. Previous experience includes reporting for the Franklin News Foundation from March 2021 to June 2024 and serving as Play by Play announcer for the Chicago Dogs Baseball team from March 2018 to May 2019. Hensel is a graduate of the Illinois Media School, where studies were completed between 2017 and 2018.
