Jeff Nusser

Jeff Nusser has a diverse work experience that includes roles in education, freelance writing, and sports journalism. Jeff co-founded and edited CougCenter.com, a popular Washington State University athletics fan site. Jeff has also taught English at various schools, including Gov. John R. Rogers High School and the Wenatchee School District. In addition, they have worked as a freelance writer for various publications and served as the owner and author of Cougar Sports Weekly, a paid subscription email newsletter focused on Washington State University athletics. Jeff has also held positions as a college basketball editor for CBSSports.com and as a desk editor/reporter for The News Tribune.

Jeff Nusser has a Master of Arts in Teaching degree in Education, which they obtained from the University of Puget Sound during the academic year of 2002 to 2003. Prior to pursuing their master's degree, they completed their Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication (Journalism) from Washington State University from 1995 to 1999. Additionally, they obtained a teaching certification, specifically the State of Washington Teaching Certificate, from the Office of the Superintendent of Public Instruction in April 2003.
