Sven Karabegovic

Sven Karabegovic is a dedicated and experienced individual currently serving as an intern with the Utah House Democrats, focusing on legislative support and bill tracking. Sven has been a contributing writer for SLC Dunk since May 2020, producing articles and analyses on sports. Previous roles include Chief of Staff for the Associated Students of the University of Utah, a Resident Advisor, and a Legislative Intern with Utah House Minority Whip Representative Jen Dailey-Provost, gaining substantial legislative experience. Sven also served as a Sports Reporter for The Salt Lake Tribune, an intern at the American College of National Security Leaders, and a director for the Freshman Ambassador Board within the Union Programming Council at the University of Utah. Administrative experience includes internships at the Salt Lake City Mayor's office and the Racial Equity in Policing/Policy Advising Team. Sven is pursuing a degree in Political Science and International Studies at the University of Utah, complemented by a minor in Russian.
