Reese May has a diverse work experience spanning different industries. Reese began their career in 2002 as a Sergeant in the United States Marine Corps and served until 2008. Following their military service, Reese worked as a Teaching Assistant in the Department of Philosophy at the University of Mississippi from 2010 to 2011. In 2011, they joined SBP, where they held multiple positions including Program Manager for Disaster Recovery Lab & Internal Process Improvement (2011-2012), Director of East Coast Operations (2013-2015), National Director of Recovery (2015-2018), and currently Chief Strategy and Innovation Officer. Reese's expertise lies in disaster recovery, operations management, and strategic planning.

Reese May obtained a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Political Theory from The University of Southern Mississippi, attending from 2005 to 2009. They later pursued a 1/2 M.A. degree in Philosophy at the University of Mississippi from 2010 to 2011.
