Colin Hendry

Colin Hendry is an experienced media technical specialist with a robust background in software engineering and architecture. Currently serving at Special Broadcasting Service (SBS) Australia since July 2020, Colin previously held similar roles at National Rugby League and Switch Media, where leadership in software architecture was demonstrated. At Symantec, Colin was a senior principal software engineer, leading developer teams and contributing to a patent committee. Additional expertise includes developing email filtering software at SurfControl Pty Ltd and VOIP systems at Open Access VOIP Systems. Colin's career began as a software engineer at Philips Traffic and Engineering Systems after earning a Bachelor of Computer Systems Engineering from James Cook University.
