Evan Charlton

Evan Charlton is an experienced media professional currently serving as the Evening Editor at Special Broadcasting Service (SBS) Australia since December 2021. Prior to this role, Evan held the position of Senior Producer at NITV, a division of SBS, from April 2016 to December 2021, and worked as a Freelance Output Producer at Al Jazeera Media Network in early 2016. Evan's career at SBS began in March 2008, where responsibilities included roles as Supervising Producer and Broadcast Journalist until January 2016. Evan holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Auckland, obtained between 1986 and 1989.
