Julia Calixto

Julia Calixto's work experience includes various roles in journalism and media production. Julia started their career at Your Source as a Market Research Team Leader, where they coordinated research projects and worked closely with senior management. Julia then worked as a Public Relations Consultant at The Ideas Suite, creating media kits and writing articles and press releases. Julia later joined CNN as a Journalism Fellow, participating in workshops and seminars at the company's headquarters. Julia then joined Special Broadcasting Service (SBS) Australia, where they held multiple roles, including SBS News Digital Video Lead and SBS World News Journalist. In these roles, they managed science and technology and women's affairs rounds, covered international events as a Video Journalist, and received recognition for their work on the war in Syria.
