S.F. Tusa, also known as Sio Tusa, is a seasoned documentary director and writer currently contracted with the Special Broadcasting Service (SBS) Australia and Network 10, contributing as a CSA content producer and director. With experience in multiple capacities, Tusa has worked on projects for organizations including ASPECTLAB Pty Ltd, Queensland Police Service, Screen Queensland, and Cairns Regional Council, showcasing a range of thematic narratives that explore identity and connection. Tusa has previously collaborated with the Australian Broadcasting Corporation (ABC), WildBear Entertainment, and Blackfella Films, and holds degrees from the University of Southern Queensland and AFTRS, complemented by diplomas from James Cook University in areas such as Directing, Writing, Anthropology, and Cultural Anthropology.
