Angie Womack Jones

Angie Womack Jones, MPA, currently serves as a Grant Administrator at the SC Department of Health and Human Services since March 2023. Prior experience includes an Administrator role at the Louisiana Department of Treasury, where Angie designed and implemented a system for the return of unclaimed property, successfully returning nearly $10 million in a year. As a Session Policy Aide for the Louisiana State Senate, Angie assisted Senator Heather Cloud until the role concluded due to COVID-19 measures. Additional experiences include a graduate internship at Manners of the Heart focused on program evaluation and accreditation, and various positions in real estate, including Commercial Real Estate Agent at KW Commercial. Angie’s earlier career involved significant roles at the Louisiana Highway Safety Commission and Louisiana State Police, emphasizing program management and public communication. Angie holds a Master of Public Administration from Louisiana State University and a Bachelor of Arts in Public Relations from Southeastern Louisiana University.
