Dean Limbert started their work experience in 1989 as a Technical Apprentice at International Combustion Ltd. Dean then progressed through various roles, including Detail Draughtsman at International Combustion Limited, Mechanical Draughtsman at LB Plastics Ltd, and Product Designer at DEB Dispensing Ltd. In 2005, they became the Design Centre Manager at DEB IP Ltd before transitioning to the role of R&D Manager - Design at Deb Group in 2009. In 2015, Dean joined SC Johnson Professional™ as the Design & Technology Director (RD&E).

Dean Limbert attended Derby College from 1988 to 1992, where they obtained an HND in Materials Technology. Prior to that, from 1983 to 1988, they studied at Murray Road in Mickleover, Derby, but the degree and field of study are unknown.
