Abby J. Kaplan

Abby J. Kaplan is a seasoned executive with extensive experience in the pharmaceutical and healthcare industries. Currently serving as Senior Vice President and Head of the Compounding division at Covetrus, Kaplan oversees the profit and loss of the compounding pharmacy service line for companion animals. Previous roles include General Counsel and Chief Compliance Officer at SCA Pharma, where Kaplan managed legal and compliance departments and successfully navigated a company-wide cyber attack. Kaplan co-founded Samson Pharma, LLC, focusing on novel dermatology products, and held key positions at Optum and Avella Specialty Pharmacy, managing operations, quality, compliance, and legal strategy. Kaplan also served as President of the Outsourcing Facility Association and held a Vice President role at JPMorgan Chase & Co.
