Ori Klipstein

Ori Klipstein is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in engineering and research across various sectors, including biotechnology and software development. Currently serving as the Head of Engineering at Scala Biodesign since March 2023, Ori previously held the position of Director of R&D at Verbit.ai, where the focus was on enhancing accessibility through innovative AI and human transcription services. Prior roles include Director of Backend Engineering at Chorus.ai, managing two engineering teams, Senior Software Engineer at Moroccanoil, and a Researcher & MSc Student at the University of Pavia, specializing in molecular biology and genetics. Ori's earlier experience includes significant contributions as a Software Engineer for Todan and as Submarine Chief Technical Officer for the Israeli Navy. Ori holds a Master of Science in Molecular Biology and Genetics from Università di Pavia and a Bachelor of Science in Bioinformatics from Ben-Gurion University of the Negev.
