Esther de Waard

Esther de Waard is an experienced educator and researcher in the field of chemistry. Currently serving as a Docent scheikunde at Scala College since August 2018 and continuing as a PhD student at Universiteit Utrecht, Esther focuses on enhancing pre-university students' life cycle reasoning related to sustainability education through cradle-to-cradle design problems. Prior to these roles, Esther taught chemistry at Corlaer College from August 2014 to July 2018, where responsibilities included teaching havo and atheneum students and mentoring sixth-year students. Educational qualifications include a Master of Science in Nanomaterials from Utrecht University, a Teacher Chemistry (1e graads) certification from OnderwijsTraineeship, and a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from Utrecht University.
