Simon Pereira has a diverse work experience spanning from 1999 to the present. In 1999, they began working as an Aircraft Designer for Deca Aviation/Bombardier, where they performed design validation and FEA on bulkheads, cabin partitions, gaspers, etc. for Bombardier Global Express business jets. In the same year, they also began working as a Lead Aerodynamicist for Ford Motor Co., where they focused on wind tunnel testing and simulation of proposed design improvements. In 2001, they began working at ANSYS as a Project Manager, where they focused on UX issues and feature requests. Simon was then promoted to Senior Product Manager, where they were responsible for platform tools. Finally, in 2019, they began working as a Sustainable Home Building Youtuber for HomeInTheEarth. In 2021, they began working as a Lead Product Manager for Scala Computing, where they are responsible for setting requirements for a new CAE/EDA platform.
Simon Pereira has a diverse educational background. Simon holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Worcester Polytechnic Institute, a Master of Engineering (MEng) from the University of Michigan - Rackham Graduate School, and a Bachelor of Engineering (BE) from Ryerson University.
