Carolina Gómez

Carolina Gómez has been working in the IT field since 2008. Carolina began as a Hosting Technical Support Assistant at Interalta S.A. and Imaginamos, providing technical support on web hosting services and domains topics to users using many online communication channels. Carolina also provided general attention, customer support and service. In 2009, they were a Monitoring National Research Journal at Universidad Nacional Abierta y a Distancia, kick-starting research projects with the Jupiter Seedbed, creating databases for articles and arbitration juries, and contacting, reviewing articles, making filters, selecting arbitrators and hiring people. At Internet.com.co, they were a Lead Technical Hosting Services and Commercial Agent from 2008-2016, leading the definition of strategies for continuous improvement of the monitoring applications and design of preventive maintenance plans, and providing direct technical support to end users. Carolina also performed selection processes for technical staff and training. From 2009-2016, they were a Project Manager and Lead Technical Hosting Services at ServerQuo, managing and guiding the IT operation of consulting projects on automated infrastructures in the services of Amazon Web Services, leading the technical team and tracking and delivering solutions to clients of important digital projects in Colombia, Mexico and Europe. From 2020-2021, they were a Consultant and Cloud Administrator at BEXTechnology S.A., controlling, validating and generating consumption reports in private and public cloud infrastructures, on Microsoft Azure clouds and Amazon Web Services, and consulting activities in relation to Cloud technologies and solutions. Currently, they are a Cloud Engineer at Escala 24x7 Inc., managing and providing technical support on the Amazon Web Services (AWS) cloud, performing Amazon Web Services (AWS) cloud infrastructure Assessments, and identifying workloads in the Amazon Web Services (AWS) for cloud accounts.

Carolina Gómez obtained their Compute Engineer degree from the Universidad Nacional Abierta y a Distancia between 2010 and 2012, specializing in Computer Engineering Technologies/Technicians. Carolina also obtained a Compute Technologist degree from the same university between 2006 and 2010, specializing in Research and Projects.
