John Alexander Carvajal Agudelo

John Alexander Carvajal Agudelo has a diverse work experience in the field of technology. John Alexander started their career in 2010 as an Engineer Developer at Soluciones Integrales de Oficina, where they worked on developing applications using JAVA J2EE, .NET OO, and Borlan C++.

In 2013, they joined COOMEVA as a Business Intelligence Analyst. John Alexander was responsible for designing and developing reports using SSRS and Report Designer, creating ETL packages with SSIS, and designing and developing cubes and measures with SSAS. John Alexander continued in this role until 2014.

From 2015 to 2016, John worked at COA as a Semi Senior Business Intelligence Analyst. John Alexander'sresponsibilities included designing and developing reports through web and desktop platforms, creating dashboards using Microstrategy 9, and providing support to users through the help desk.

In 2017, they returned to COOMEVA as a Business Intelligence Analyst, where they performed similar tasks as in their previous role, such as report designing and development, ETL package creation, and cube and measure design using SSRS, SSIS, and SSAS.

From 2018 to 2022, John worked at Carvajal Tecnología y Servicios as a Solutions Architect. In this role, they used their expertise to develop architectural solutions for various projects.

Most recently, since 2022, John has been employed at Escala 24x7 Inc. as a Data Cloud Engineer.

John Alexander Carvajal Agudelo began their education in 2012 at Corporacion Universitaria Centro Superior, where they pursued a degree in Ingeniero en sistemas with a focus on Tecnología informática/Tecnología de sistemas informáticos. John Alexander completed their studies at this institution in 2012.

In 2014, Agudelo enrolled at Universitat Oberta de Catalunya to pursue a specialization in Business Intelligence, specifically in the areas of BI/DW/BD. John Alexander completed this program in 2014.

In 2016, Agudelo attended Universidad Tecnológica Nacional to study Introducción a Big Data y NoSQL, focusing on Big Data. John Alexander completed this program in the same year.

Also in 2016, Agudelo pursued another specialization in Big Data with Apache Hadoop at Centro de e-Learning UTN FRBA. John Alexander obtained this certification.

Furthermore, Agudelo obtained several additional certifications throughout their education. In 2015, they achieved a certificate in R Programming from Coursera Verified Certificates. In 2016, they obtained certifications in M101J: MongoDB for Java Developers and M102: MongoDB for DBAs from MongoDB, Inc. In 2022, Agudelo obtained the AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner certification from Amazon Web Services (AWS), and in 2023, they achieved the AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate certification, also from Amazon Web Services (AWS).
