Frank Steemers

Frank Steemers started working as the VP of R&D at Scale Biosciences, Inc. in January 2021. Prior to that, they worked at Illumina as a Director from July 2017 to January 2021.

Frank Steemers received their education as follows:

- From 1988 to 1993, they attended Leiden University where they obtained a Master of Science degree in Organic Chemistry.

- In 1990, they briefly attended Ithaca College with a focus on chemistry.

- Frank then pursued their Ph.D. in Supramolecular Chemistry at the University of Twente from 1993 to 1997.

- Following this, from 1997 to 1999, they were a Postdoctoral Scholar in Analytical Chemistry at Tufts University.
