Rahul Shukla

Rahul Shukla is a Product Manager at Scale AI since August 2021, previously serving as Product Operations Manager. Shukla founded the Northwestern Open Data Initiative, Northwestern’s first open data portal, from January 2020 to June 2021, and held the role of Research Assistant in the Amaral Lab at Northwestern University from October 2017 to June 2021. Shukla contributed to analyzing media coverage of school shootings and developed the first dataset on this topic. As a Product Management Intern at ThoughtSpot for a brief period in 2020, Shukla led a successful project that increased feature usage by 40%. Additionally, Shukla was a Civic Digital Fellow at Coding it Forward and interned at the U.S. Census Bureau, where efforts were focused on creating a machine learning pipeline. Shukla earned a Bachelor of Arts in Computer Science with a Minor in Economics from Northwestern University in 2021.
