Dr. Steve Mayner

Dr. Steve Mayner has over 30 years of work experience across various industries. Dr. Steve is currently the VP Framework, Methodologist & SAFe Fellow at Scaled Agile, Inc., where they lead the team responsible for the research and development of the company's intellectual property. Prior to this, they held executive positions at SRA, a CSRA company, InfoReliance, SAIC, and Unisys. Dr. Steve also served as the Executive Officer for Operation Enduring Freedom in the United States Air Force. Dr. Mayner has extensive experience in software and systems development, workforce optimization, strategic technology initiatives, and program management.

Dr. Steve Mayner received their Doctor of Business Administration degree in Strategy and Innovation from Capella University, graduating between 2015 and 2017. Prior to that, they earned their Master of Business Administration degree in Technology Management from the University of Phoenix, completing their studies from 2000 to 2002. Dr. Steve'sBachelor of Education degree in Music Teacher Education was obtained from the University of Oklahoma from 1984 to 1988. Dr. Mayner also holds several additional certifications, including SAFe® Fellow from Scaled Agile, Inc. (obtained in August 2018), and PMI Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP)® from the Project Management Institute (obtained in May 2012).
