Philip Michaylov

Philip Michaylov has a diverse work experience spanning several fields. Philip started their career as a Fleet Manager and Office Assistant at Drenikov Rentacar from 2005 to 2007. Later, they joined the Technical University of Sofia, where they worked as a Mechanical Engineer from 2014 to present. In this role, they supported and led laboratory exercises in the field of Internal Combustion Engines, Simulation Modelling, and Computer-Aided Design and Engineering. Philip also conducted research, designed educational test benches, operated and maintained test stands and measurement equipment. Additionally, they served as an Assistant Professor, leading laboratory exercises, reading lectures courses, and supervising student summer practice with SolidWorks. Since 2017, they have been working at Scaleflex, specifically in the role of Research and Development Engineer.

Philip Michaylov completed their education with a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Technical University of Sofia, where they studied from 2003 to 2008. Afterward, they pursued a Master's Degree in Combustion Engines, Automobile Engineering, and Transport from the same institution, graduating in 2010. Philip also engaged in post-graduate research specializing in Internal Combustion Engines at the Technical University of Sofia from 2010 to 2014.
