Lucas Laughlin

Lucas Laughlin is a co-founder and the head of engineering at ScaleIP, focused on developing solutions for IP monetization and commercialization since July 2022. Prior to this role, Lucas co-founded Modscholar, where efforts were concentrated on creating a platform for the Open Access movement resembling a Spotify model for sharing research from October 2019 to July 2022. Earlier experiences include a software engineering internship at Altia in 2020 and a software engineering internship at Webscan Inc., now part of COGNEX, in 2017. Educational qualifications include a Master of Science in Applied Mathematics and a Bachelor of Arts in Computer Science, both from the University of Colorado Boulder, along with a high school diploma from Rock Canyon High School.
