Role OverviewWe are seeking a Sales Development Representative to identify and qualify growth opportunities, engage with prospective clients, and support the sales process. This role involves managing the early stages of the sales cycle, working collaboratively with your Sales Team to implement strategies, and fostering relationships with potential clients. The ideal candidate has a strategic mindset, and a consultative approach to building client connections.

Responsibilities

  • Establish yourself as a trusted advisor, promoting Scaler’s ESG solutions while understanding the unique challenges and goals of prospective clients.
  • Identify, qualify, and manage leads through the sales cycle, ensuring alignment with Scaler’s offerings and value proposition.
  • Prepare and manage pricing proposals, RFPs, and pitch documents for potential clients.
  • Create engaging, customer-facing presentations and lead product demonstrations online and in person.
  • Support contract negotiations, deal closures, and upsell opportunities by providing
  • Facilitate a seamless transition from closing the sale to client onboarding, including participation in onboarding calls.
  • Achieve and surpass sales targets by converting qualified leads and contributing to overall team success.
  • Stay informed on trends in ESG, SaaS, and the commercial real estate industry to deliver value-driven solutions

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, Math, Statistics, Engineering, or otherwise proven experience in product management
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in sales-related roles within B2B SaaS, ESG, or technology-driven industries.
  • Proven ability to build and manage sales pipelines, with demonstrable success in converting leads into sales.
  • A customer-centric mindset with the ability to build and maintain relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Experience with the commercial real estate market or familiarity with ESG solutions is highly preferred.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with an aptitude for creating persuasive presentations and delivering engaging product demonstrations.
  • A strategic thinker with a goal-oriented and entrepreneurial approach to problem-solving
