Rachel Williams

Founder and Fractional CFO at ScaleUp Financial Solutions

Rachel Williams has a diverse work experience spanning various roles in finance and leadership. Most recently, they founded ScaleUp Financial Solutions in March 2022 and serves as the Fractional CFO. Prior to that, they worked as a Fractional CFO at Alterna Materials from October 2022. Rachel also held the position of Fractional CFO at Revaluate, starting in June 2021. Rachel has also served as an Advisor at SCAPE - SW Colorado Accelerator Program for Entrepreneurs since June 2021.

Before their recent ventures, Rachel worked as a Fractional Chief Financial Officer at Ascent CFO Solutions from August 2020 to March 2022. Rachel also held multiple roles at Fanbank, including Consulting Chief Financial Officer from August 2017 to May 2021 and CFO and Operations Lead from October 2017 to August 2020.

Rachel's earlier experiences include working as a CFO Advisor at Pearachute from December 2016 to December 2018, a Principal/CFO at AVL Growth Partners from March 2017 to May 2018, a CFO at SciFutures from June 2015 to July 2017, and a Chief Financial Officer at Unitas Global from November 2014 to May 2015.

Throughout their career, Rachel has demonstrated expertise in finance, accounting, HR, legal, administration, and strategic growth. Rachel has successfully managed various responsibilities, including executing initiatives, developing communication and reporting processes, and providing strategic and financial management advice.

Rachel Williams obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from Baylor University from 1992 to 1996. Following that, they pursued their Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a focus on Finance at Baylor University's Hankamer School of Business from 1996 to 1998. Additionally, Rachel holds a certification as a Certified Public Accountant (Inactive) from the State of California.
