Luc GIOVACCHINI

Luc Giovacchini has over three decades of experience in the semiconductor industry. Luc is currently employed as a Principal Digital IC Design Engineer at SCALINX since March 2017. Prior to that, they worked at LUCIOM as an Embedded Systems Design Engineer from December 2014 to July 2016.

Between 2007 and 2014, Luc worked at IDT - Integrated Device Technology, Inc. / NXP Semiconductors as a Staff Digital/Mixed-IC Design Engineer.

From 1999 to 2006, they held the position of Senior Digital/VLSI Design Engineer at NXP / Philips Semiconductors. In this role, they were responsible for the design, verification, and silicon validation of multiple audio/video coder-decoders for DVD recorders and Digital TV receivers. Luc also served as the system-on-chip project integrator and administrator.

Prior to joining NXP / Philips Semiconductors, Luc worked at Philips Semiconductors from 1989 to 1999, first as a Digital/Mixed-IC Design Engineer and later as a Senior Digital/VLSI Design Engineer.

Before their time at Philips Semiconductors, they worked as a Military Scientist at Thomson Composants Microondes from September 1988 to July 1989.

Luc Giovacchini completed their education with a specialized Master's degree in "Embedded System Architect" from CentraleSupélec, which they pursued from 2015 to 2016. Prior to this, they earned an Engineer's Master's degree in "Engineering Physics" from Grenoble INP - Phelma, which they completed from 1985 to 1988.
