Erwan Girard

Erwan Girard is the VP of Product Management at Scality. Prior to joining Scality, Erwan was the Business Unit Manager for LaCie at Seagate Technology from August 2013 to September 2015. While at Seagate, Erwan was responsible for the LaCie branded product portfolio addressing the Mac and Professional Market.

Under Erwan's leadership, the LaCie product range saw double digit growth in units, revenue, and margin. Erwan also launched 6 first-to-market products and successfully managed the relationship with APPLE on a WW basis. In addition, Erwan launched the fastest external drive at CES.

Erwan has a proven track record of targeting the right channels and motivating participation in key marketing campaigns. Erwan also has a deep understanding of technology and is able to drive advanced development on key technological features. Lastly, Erwan is an excellent communicator and was a spokesperson for new products with briefings to: CNET / ANANDTECH / 9to5 Mac / MacRUMORS / MacLife / Mac World / FStoppers.

Erwan Girard is a telecommunication and computer science engineer who specializes in telecommunications. Erwan studied at Grenoble INP - UGA, where they earned their engineering degree.
