Brendan Barfoot is a highly experienced engineer who has worked in various companies within the food and dairy industry. With a Bachelor of Engineering and Bachelor of Science from the University of Melbourne, Brendan has held roles such as Project Engineer, Process Engineer, Technical/Project Manager, Processing & Environment Manager, and Environmental Engineer. Throughout their career, Brendan has gained expertise in quality control, compliance, research and development, and project management.

Scalzo Foods is a privately owned, board run business that began operations in 1977. Our capabilities in ingredient supply, as partners to retailers and manufacturing expertise have fuelled our development. We’re an agile, growth orientated business that focuses on innovation and adding value to drive mutually beneficial partnerships. Our head office is located in Melbourne at our Kensington site and we have a further network of offices and warehouses across Australia and New Zealand. We also operate manufacturing facilities in Kensington, Campbellfield and Auckland. Our team today consists of over 300 employees, all inspired by the passion and entrepreneurial spirit of founder, Quin Scalzo. Over 30% of our staff have had successful careers at Scalzo Foods for ten years or more.
