Gabe Waterman, MD, MBA has a diverse work experience in the healthcare field. Gabe is currently serving as the Vice President of Primary Care at SCAN since January 2023. Prior to this role, they were an Adjunct Clinical Instructor of Medicine at the Keck School of Medicine of the University of Southern California since September 2018. Before that, they held various positions at CareMore Health, including Regional Medical Officer, COVID-19 National Medical Director, Extensivist Physician, Associate Regional Medical Officer, and Caremore-Gehr Fellow in Health Systems Science. Gabe started their medical career as a Resident Physician at LAC+USC Medical Center from June 2015 to June 2018. Gabe also worked as a Clinical Research Associate at the Institute for Myeloma and Bone Cancer Research from January 2009 to July 2010.
Gabe Waterman, MD, MBA earned their Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree from the Keck School of Medicine of the University of Southern California from 2010 to 2015. During the same period, they also obtained a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from USC Marshall School of Business. Before that, they completed their Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Political Science and Government from Washington University in St. Louis from 2004 to 2008. Gabe Waterman attended Harvard-Westlake School in the year 2008, although it is uncertain if they obtained a degree from there.
In addition to their education, Gabe Waterman has obtained various certifications including ABIM Board Certification in Internal Medicine, Advanced Cardiac Life Support, California Medical License, and DEA Controlled Substance License.
