Jose Gutierrez

Jose Gutierrez is an experienced leader in research and development, particularly in the medical diagnostics and biotechnology sectors. Notably, Jose served as Vice President and Head of R&D for Primary Care & CUA at Siemens Healthineers from June 2020 to March 2022, overseeing R&D teams focused on diabetes, kidney disease, and other chronic conditions. Prior to this role, Jose held key positions at DNA Electronics and Abbott, including Vice President of NGS Platform Development and Senior Director of Systems Development, respectively, where successful product and platform developments were achieved. Jose possesses a Doctor of Engineering degree in Engineering Management from The George Washington University and a Bachelor of Science in Animal Physiology & Neuroscience from UC San Diego.
