Khin-Kyemon Aung has a diverse range of work experience in the healthcare industry. Khin-Kyemon began their career as a Peer Advising Fellow and Research Intern at Cleveland Clinic in 2009, where they gained valuable experience in research and advising. Khin-Kyemon then worked at the Massachusetts Executive Office of Health and Human Services in 2013, focusing on health care policy.
In 2014, Aung joined The Center for Medicare and Medicaid Innovation as a Health Insurance Specialist and ORISE Fellow, specializing in ACO models. Khin-Kyemon continued to expand their expertise in healthcare innovation and strategy by joining Iora Health in 2017, where they worked on the Product Team.
Aung then transitioned to the field of health publishing, working for Healthcare: The Journal of Delivery Science and Innovation. Khin-Kyemon held the positions of Managing Editor from 2012 to 2016 and Deputy Editor from 2016 to 2020. During their time there, they played a crucial role in the publication's editorial process.
In 2019, Aung joined CareMore Health, where they focused on Clinical Programs and Product Development. Khin-Kyemon contributed to the development and improvement of healthcare programs and products.
Khin-Kyemon then joined Brigham and Women's Hospital in 2020 as a Resident Physician in Internal Medicine and Primary Care, where they honed their clinical skills and gained practical experience.
In 2022, Aung explored the venture capital side of the healthcare industry as a Venture Fellow at AlleyCorp. Khin-Kyemon subsequently joined Auxa Health as the Director of Clinical Strategy in 2022, where they were responsible for developing and implementing clinical strategies.
Most recently, Aung joined SCAN in 2023 as the Medical Director for Duals Integrated Care. In this role, they will oversee and direct medical services for integrated care programs.
Khin-Kyemon Aung's education history includes obtaining a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from Harvard Business School. In addition, they earned a Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) degree from Harvard Medical School. Their undergraduate studies were completed at Harvard University, where they earned an AB degree in Human Evolutionary Biology and Global Health and Health Policy.
