Viraj Desilva has a diverse work experience starting from 2001. From 2001 to 2003, they worked as an Oracle Database Administrator at ictp Technology. In 2003, they joined New Solutions, Inc. as a .NET Developer/ Oracle DBA until 2007. In the same year, they began working at Healthfirst as a SAS programmer for a brief period of time. In 2007, they joined SCAN and held various positions including Lead Informatics Specialist, Healthcare Informatics Manager for Encounter Analytics, and currently serves as the Director of Encounter Operations and Analytics.
Viraj Desilva obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from UCLA between 1998 and 2001. Subsequently, they pursued a Master's degree in Biostatistics at Rutgers University from 2005 to 2007.
