Allison Foster

Director, Value Based Care at SCAN Health Plan

Allison Foster has a diverse work experience that spans different industries. Allison started their career in 2017 as an Emergency Medical Technician at Tulane EMS, where they volunteered for over 900 hours and standardized data assembly to demonstrate the value of the organization. In 2020, they transitioned to Epic as an Implementation Project Manager until 2021. Since then, Allison has been working at SCAN, initially as a Health Promotion Specialist and then progressed to Program Manager and Program Principal in Value Based Partnerships. Currently, they hold the role of Director of Value Based Care, where they manage relationships between SCAN and external partners, implements upstream programs, and ensures members have access to quality care. Allison is also involved in various initiatives such as expanding health plan operations, supporting the Mobile Care Team, and executing value-based contracts aligned with SCAN's mission.
