Brian Lapes

Brian Lapes is a seasoned healthcare professional with extensive experience in value-based care and cost management. Currently serving as Director of Value Based Care at SCP Health, Brian leads the Connected Care department's solutions design, focusing on post-discharge and transitional care management programs. Previously, at UnitedHealth Group, Brian developed strategies to enhance cost affordability for the Georgia-Alabama health plan and collaborated with executive leadership on transformational initiatives. Brian’s career also includes roles at Anthem, Inc. as Healthcare Cost Outcomes Director, and Crawford & Company as Strategic Sourcing Manager, among others. Brian holds an MBA/MHA from Georgia State University and a BA in Economics from Syracuse University.
