David Tucker

David Tucker has a diverse work experience in various roles and organizations. David is currently serving as the Director of Clinical Operations at SCAN since November 2022. Prior to this, they worked at SCAN Health Plan as the Manager of Clinical Care from October 2016 to February 2023 and as the Manager of Network Performance from October 2016 to January 2018. David also worked at HealthCare Partners as the High Risk and Palliative Care Social Work Lead from October 2013 to September 2016 and as an Interim Manager from December 2015 to May 2016. David also gained experience as a Hospice & Palliative Care Social Worker at Roze Room Hospice from July 2012 to September 2014. David served in various roles at the Department of Veterans Affairs, including as a Palliative Care Fellow from June 2011 to July 2012 and as a Palliative Care - Social Work Intern from September 2010 to May 2011. David started their career as a Social Work Intern at Schiff Day Treatment Center from May 2010 to August 2010 and as a Volunteer Coordinator at Little Brothers - Friends of the Elderly from May 2009 to May 2010. Prior to that, they worked as a Residential Counselor at CASCAP, Inc. from August 2008 to May 2009.

David Tucker received a Bachelor's degree in Liberal Arts from Hendrix College from 2003 to 2006. David then pursued further education and obtained a Master's degree in Clinical Social Work from Boston College from 2009 to 2011. David Tucker also holds a certification as an LCSW from the California Board of Behavioral Sciences.
